Huffman Homecoming 2022

It’s almost here. Homecoming ’22 is going to be an amazing time for us to reconnect with old friends to celebrate what God has done and what God is doing in this place. The morning will start at 9:00 with “Meet, Greet, and Eat” in the Fellowship Hall. There will be plenty of breakfast food and lots of stories to tell!

At 10:10, those who are planning to sing in the “Reunion Choir” will rehearse in the choir room. Former choir members are invited to join the Reunion Choir singing two songs during our worship service.  We ask that choir members also complete registration for the Reunion Choir.  To register click  CHOIR

It’s going to be an incredible day that culminates in worship. I can’t wait to praise God for all that he has done. I can’t wait to celebrate what God is doing.

Registration is not required, but is encouraged. It’s not too late to let us know you are coming or to invite others. To register click HOMECOMING ’22

RECLAIMING GLORY

In preparation for that day of celebration, we are starting a new sermon mini-series from the book of Haggai, Reclaiming Glory. When the children of Israel first returned from the Exile, they set themselves to the task of rebuilding the Temple with hopes that God’s glory would return to Jerusalem. Over time, they grew weary and turned their attention to other pursuits. After decades of neglect, the word of the Lord came to Haggai who called the people to work on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God. The people obeyed, and God promised, “The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former…. And in this place I will give peace.” What an incredible and timely word for Huffman Baptist Church!
