Huffman Baptist Church is a neighborhood church for northeast Birmingham. Like the television commercial says, “We know a few things because we’ve seen a few things.” HBC was born in May of 1908 when a group of early settlers who moved from Chalkville decided it was too far to travel back to Chalkville for worship. So they started a new church.
Over the years, Huffman Baptist has grown, changed, and adapted with the Huffman neighborhood. Today, we are a growing multi-ethnic and multi-generational church.
We invite you to look around our website to learn more about our culture, our beliefs, and our ministries. We would love to have you join us for worship. Check out our I’M NEW page to find out what you can expect.
