Dr. Rob Paul was called to Huffman Baptist Church on July 14, 2019. For more than 30 years Rob has served established Southern Baptist churches in pastoral ministry. He has served rural family chapels. Suburban churches. And county-seat First Baptist Churches in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history and a Master of Science degree in international relations from Troy University and completed one year of PhD work in higher education administration at the University of Alabama before God called him into vocational ministry. He then went on to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity degree in preaching and a Doctor of Ministry degree in evangelistic church growth. Rob and his wife, Melanie, live in Birmingham.
