Prayer is a foundational component of the Forward Generosity Campaign. It is through prayer that each of us will be able to answer the question, “Lord, what would you have me to do?” Choose the appropriate scripture for each day as listed below. As you read the Scripture, ask these questions: What is God saying to me? Is there a particular word or phrase that stands out? Then turn your thoughts about the passage into prayer. If you are not in the habit of writing out your prayers, it may be helpful to do so during this 40 Days of Prayer emphasis.
